USA Trunk Shows
We appreciate that not all of our customers can make it to our London shop to meet with us in person, or order online. That is why we regularly host bespoke and custom made trunk shows to the USA twice a year. Our trunk shows are run by cutters Darren Tiernan and Lizandra Cardoni. Beyond consultations for our shirtmaking services, they also bring with them a selection of samples of our ready to wear shirts, nightwear, dresswear and accessories for your consideration.
USA Trunk Shows – 2026
We are pleased to announce the dates for our Spring Trunk to the United States. Once again, Budd shall be travelling alongside our London Collective (TLC) partners, E. B. Meyrowitz (eye glasses), Gaziano Girling (shoemakers) and Edward Sexton (tailoring), offering customers the opportunity to turn their attention to all aspects of their wardrobes.
Cutters Darren Tiernan (DT) and Lizandra Cardoni (LC) shall be visiting multiple cities, crossing the country from East Coast to West, meeting with customers for both bespoke and made to measure orders and fittings. As well as men's orders, Lizandra is also an accomplished women's bespoke shirtmaker, and shall be offering her services to both male and female audiences.
We shall return to the USA for our second trunk show of the year in late September/October 2026.

What to Expect at our Trunk Shows
During your appointment, you will be taken through shirting options (you won't be disappointed on the cloth front, we carry cloths from mills such as Alumo and Thomas Mason) and styling options, including collar, cuff and fit. A full set of measurements is taken before your pattern and shirt is made up in the UK.
In the case of custom made shirts, your shirts will be sent out to you within 6-8 weeks. Bespoke is a little different, due to the unique set of measurements that is taken. New customers will have a sample shirt made first. This will be sent out to you to try, wash and feedback on, and then reviewed with your cutter either at your next meeting, or subject to you being immediately satisfied, signed off and the remainder of your shirt order put into hand. For repeat customers, we will simply make up your order and send it out to you when ready. Come and see us!
Darren Tiernan
Senior Cutter, Darren’s infectious baritone laugh and convivial manner echoes through our premises at regular intervals! 2017 sees him celebrate thirty years as a shirt cutter. Darren followed a traditional shirt making apprenticeship into the trade, starting out at Bowring & Arundel in Savile Row before progressing on to New & Lingwood, Dege & Skinner and briefly Davies & Sons He had long admired the work and authenticity of Budd’s work and didn’t hesitate for one second when asked to join the team seven years ago.
Lizandra Cardoni
We are delighted to introduce the latest member of our bespoke shirt cutting team. Hailing from Brazil, Lizandra Cardoni came to the UK over a decade ago with the clear ambition of training to be a shirt cutter and tailor. Throughout her university years and early professional life in São Paulo she found herself more passionate about shirtmaking than she did about her actual career in marketing, and after initial teaching and guidance from local tailoresses, decided to relocate to London to gain formal training.
